Another baler for your ever growing hay equipment

We had a MH baler like that and my brother did custom baling. The first year he ran 52,000 bales thru it. He baled in our county and 4 surrounding counties

That is sharp.
I have always liked Massey Harris tractors.
My 101 SR was a stout old machine at the sawmill.

Spent many hours on a Massey 44 like that. We used it to fit the ground after we plowed with the JD720. It pulled a 12ft Kewanee disk in second until we put duals on. Then it would pull in third. The duals let it run on top of the ground, with singles it was always climbing out of it's tracks. We used the 44 enough we had to rebuild the engine twice in my memory.

Yep, I rebuilt the F226 engine in mine and the only thing I could not find was a front crankshaft seal.
So I made one using leather.
Don't think it ever leaked.

hey! I have one of those, got it through a scrapper 3 years ago. he called me and said to "come look-this one is too good to cut up." I hope to find time to try it out next summer. also saved the trailer load from the same place/same time.

Duals do make a big difference that?s for sure my 3020 will pull my ih 370 disk better in plowed ground with duals than the 4020 will without duals

Those red and yellow Massey tractors do look sharp one of my favorite tractors I also like the green challengers

Yup! Puling that same disk with the JD720 because the 44 was down. I buried it, on dry dirt. I went and put the duals on and no more problems. My dad was upset it had the duals on when he got home, but when I explained he had to agree.

I was real pleased the scrapper called me. he has backed off on several other things that he saw I was bidding on at auctions. not all those guys are bad.
that M-H baler and other stuff were inside a pole barn, about 7 miles from me, and I never knew they were there. the old man had died, and the place was getting cleaned out.

That?s pretty near you saved them . It would be nice to be able to save all these old implements from scrap but a guy would need a lot more room for equipment than I have

I have a friend that owns a junk yard I?ve got quite a few parts and stuff from him over the years . He?s had quite a few things I would like to have had the money to get but I can?t save them all

We had several Continental engines on stationary irrigation pumps they were wore out but kept on pumping
