What is it.

I have a fountain in my farm pond been there for about ten years now.i have two small nylon ropes holding it in place in the middle of the pond. Something has chewed the rope into three times in the past week turtles have always been it with no problems. I'm thinking a muskrat has moved in and doesn't like the rope what you guys think it could be Rick.

Drive a fence post into the bottom of the pond and attach the fountain with a galvanized wire. If too deep, put a tether on it attached to an old brake drum. Make sure the tether is long enough. Mink, weasels, raccoons, muskrats, and beavers all like to chew. Jim
