After sitting for a couple months tried to start my B 414 today ..No go so tried bleeding it by the book and got fuel at top and at the two small bleed screw on the pump but none up to injectors. Now i had lots of pressure at the top bleed screw on the pump but it seemed weaker on the bottom screw..I feel there was enough pressure that it should have made it to the injectors...Any ideas or help appreciated..Thanks in advance..

Loosen the fuel line nut at one injector and crank starter or pull tractor until it starts then tighten the nut.

Already replaced the glow plugs with the mercedes type system .Works great...Thats not it no fuel so maybe injector pump hope not but..

No fuel to injectors means pump trouble. If there's any traces of water in fuel, or bio diesel then pump probably has stuck metering valve and/or rotor plungers keeping fuel from getting to the injectors. I just tested and returned a Case 188 pump for the same trouble..

If it was running only a few months ago and was shut down normally/not run out of fuel, no fuel system "bleeding" or other drama should be an issue here, as the fuel tank is "higher" than the injection pump making it almost impossible for air to enter the system.

There must be more to your story?

You are very possibly right but i am surprised with good pressure at both bleed screws on side of pump it would not push it up to the injectors..With tthe screw open and pump the primer on opposite side of engine the fuel shoots out 6 inches..

Bio diesel is the worst fuel to use in anything that sets unused. I've seen pumps that have been repaired, then fail again after setting unused for one month using bio diesel. I have a U302 MM diesel pump apart now that has stuck parts because of bio diesel, only way to free everything up again is to tear it completely apart again and start over. Water in fuel is bad also..

It will not start until you slacken an injector pipe as Tom Tinker said, not
exagerating but I have bled 100s of them engines like that. MJ

Cant remember if it has seperate kill cable but check that area.itcould be stuck in shut off position even though the knob is pushed in

Ok i went through the bleed process once more and the ol gal started right up..So thanks a bunch everyone..Merry xmas
