I use it on hydraulic cylinder rods when
equipment is stored outside and the
cylinder can't be retracted. I like the
product, it seems to prevent corrosion
for about one year. It is not too hard
to remove when necessary. I always keep
it on hand. I order it from Mcmaster.

I been using it in my trucks for years
as well as under the fenders of any of
my tractors that see winter salt, the
loader backhoe and two others are all
that really get used on the road in
winter. It actually stays in the
wheelwells of tractors great since
there is no high speed road spray

I am trying it out my pickup so it doesn't rust away so fast. Napa has it a lot cheaper than JD has it priced, I think two cans for the price of one from JD.

I use it on my trucks and trailer. With the increased use of brine on the roads anything with steel rusts quick! I try for 2 times a year to include putting the little tube in all the holes and cavities. I buy gallon can and use the siphon spray tool they sell. We have found that heating to about 120 degrees thins it down and it goes on very well.

I wonder if I could use fluid film on the blade of my Kawasaki mule
to keep snow from building up, Pam type stuff from Dollar tree
don't work.

That s a good thought.

I have a plow on a quad and one on a garden tractor that it might work on. Both get driven up and down the road in the neighborhood.

Here in western New York there is a guy who professionally uncoats
vehicles with it. I have used aerosol cans of it for small areas. Seems to
work decent. There are videos on line showing different people
spraying/using fluid film. To me it seems kinda pricey to use on farm
equipment. We always use old engine oil cut with diesel fuel in a 3
gallon pump up sprayer. Just my .02 cents.

I have a friend who buys it by the gallon from NAPA and sprays it with a Harbor Freight $20 spray gun.

I've used it like that, it works, but you have to put it on often

I have sprayed my car with it. Seems like it works ok on inner body areas when you can get it in. But on underbody it seems to wash away and not protect.
Keep it off of soft rubber parts like weather striping. Got some on the strip along front of hood and it swelled all up and got deformed.
