Most popular Christmas lights we ever put up was the year I left a tractor in front of the house and my daughter covered it with lights. Neighbors called. Haven't done it since. Only reason it was there was because it stopped running and it was too darn cold to go out and fix it. :)
 
What lights?? LOL Even if I did put them up only a few people would see them like the deer hunters that might be here or the air planes that fly over all the time. Some how having a mile long driveway makes is such thing like lights will not be seen. As for the air planes I live 3 miles from the local air port so they fly over all the time
 
Used to put up some every year, but I'm afraid that train has left the station. Many things I can't do anymore- one is getting up on ladders.
 
Just about 90% complete , i did the tree last night , did the porch Sunday and sill have the candle thingys to place in the windows and the War Dept. village and we are DONE ya here me DONE , earliest we have even been . I am sure i will hear about this from BIG Fred and fall out of good standings in the PROCRASTINATORS Guild .
 
Best not have lights then as they might mistake your decorated patio lights as a helicopter landing pad.
 
Just one small tree decorated and a lit nativity scene, like Old, nobody sees them where I live but my wife and I like them. we have colored floodlights that shine on the barnyard but those are up all year 'round.
 

It's too early for Christmas lights.

They're talking warmer weather this weekend, so I might get them put up. But they will not be turned on till the 15th.
 
Lights are up outside but haven't put a tractor out. I had the Fergie lit up last year and had it out at Thanksgiving. Neighbors have asked if I was going to light one this year. Might do the MF 50 later. O'll try to get some pics tonight
 
We don't anymore because the kids are grown and gone. The only place you could see them (other than the front yard)is about 2 miles out in Malaspina Strait (ocean).
