Ford jubilee lift wont lower

I have ran into a problem on my Ford Jubilee. I cranked it Saturday and the lift come up with the brush hog but it will not lower. I killed the tractor and its been 3 days and it hasn't even leaked down. All the posts I see are for troubleshooting lifts that don't raise and that is all that is in the IT for troubleshooting as well. Anybody had this issue before and what did you find was wrong and how did you fix it?

Pull the right side inspection cover off and then look inside. I'll almost bet the control valve is sticking and one can carefully reach in and move it by hand so it will lower. It maybe a one time thing or you many need to get in there and rebuilt things. Or if your where it is cold you could even have some ice in the system causing problems

Thanks I will try that. Cold definitely not an issue here as it was upper 60's when I was trying to use it.

The control from the lever you move to make it go up and down is worked with by springs so if the control valve sticks some times the springs just are not strong enough to make it move as it should
