Looks like winter showed up
last night. Glad I got all the
corn out last weekend.

Yep it is, ground isn't frozen and the snow is wet and heavy/sticky so the job is best left up to the faithful Farmall. Slower than the plow truck but still gets the job done without so much gouging of the ground under.

When me and my sister were kids we would see a beauty of a flat snow field like that. The test was to see if you could make a dead straight line of prints from one side to the other. Good luck it is not easy.
 
Somewhere between the 3-5? they forecasted across Stearns Co. time to put the bucket on.
 
Russ, I see you are from Bemidji. Did you know John Seitz? We raced against him quite a bit. Super nice guy.
 
Lucked out in the tropical part of the state... it was heavy/WET, so it only added up to abut 5 inches.
