Much talk about 'tie down the load' here. Thought this would be an example! Don't know where!

That was on here six months ago. It was tied down with 150,000 lb rated straps that snapped and flew off.

Musta been a 150L strap with a cut 3/4 of the way through it or attached to something really weak.
 
I also think someone in front of the truck slamming on the brakes did not help the matter. Sheese I have had people do that to me trying to get insurance money out of me. I managed to get slowed up fast enough though.
 
I've seen that picture before, and it always makes me wonder how the tailgate got in that position. It looks like it should be folded in, rather than down. Those front wheels must have cleared the tailgate when they hopped over the lip on the trailer.

The fact that they were able to get onto the shoulder makes me think (hope) that no one got hurt.
 
I told you we didn?t need the trailer, the tractor will fit on the pickup. See?
