Today, one can only imagine the spectacle of the high-stepping K-4 Pacifics and Hudsons powering the Broadway Limited and Twentieth Century Limited Chicago to NYC express trains across northern Indiana at over 100 MPH on a cold January day in the 1940s and, perhaps, very early 1950s....
