Hiniker Cab Washer Pump

Anyone know where in a Hiniker cab the washer pump and reservoir are located? It seems like it would be easy to find a reservoir with an internal pump and hook it up. Just wondering the size of the original reservoir and where they mounted it. Thanks for the help.

I am not up on the "latest and greatest", but I never heard of a Hiniker after market tractor cab with a windshield washer option.--------------------Loren

Thanks. I have a parts book for the 1300 cabs and it shows a pump/reservoir combo. It's on its own parts page so it doesn't show mounting location; must have been a rarely used option.

I haven't seen one in the wild either. I've got two 1300 cabs that I'm working on to put on a pair of Olivers and two others for parts. They all have wipers but not a washer. Just curious.

My guess is it mounted under the hood of the tractor. I'm familiar with that cab and the front is full of air handling equipment and the rear is full of radio. Unless the jug just hung out in open air, which I doubt.

You are probably right that it went somewhere under the hood, etc. Here's the picture from the Hiniker parts book. I'll have to see if I can find a brochure on
line that might show it.

I would turn on the key -- but not start the tractor . Then activate the washer pump and you should hear a zeeeeeeeet. Just follow the noise till you find it -- just that simple!

I did not think anyone could stump me on a Hiniker cab as I worked in r&d at the factory back in the day when we were churning out about 15 cabs a day. But I have to admit, I never new there was a washer kit available.

I don't have the exact OEM kit but have found several universal kits that are basically similar. Just wondering where I could mount it either in the cab or on
the tractors (Oliver 1650 and 1850). Figured if they already had a kit then someone might know where Hiniker put them in the first place.

Wow! Didn't think that I would stump you on this one. I'm just curious where they would have put the washer tank. PC shows four 1/4 inch screws that went into something, and since there aren't different brackets or mounts listed for different tractors it makes me think it went somewhere on or in the cab.

I would agree. And where could you put it on the outside of the cab that either wouldn't be in the way or risk getting caught by the rear wheels?

Maybe you just got the parts in a box and had to figure out where to put it all yourself.

I just can't imagine. It has a 60" hose so I'm thinking you must have bought the kit and the installer mounted it where ever he thought best.

Also since mounting location was not listed in the manual, there must not have been a designated location. I bet no two were ever mounted in the same place. Actually I can't imagine that more then two were ever sold.

My brother worked at Hiniker for over 40 years, including when Flying Belgian was there. I emailed him the link to this thread and asked him about it. He said that Hiniker never supplied a windshield washer and suggested that the one shown was probably an aftermarket product.
