1951 Ferguson to-30

I am working on a Ferguson to-30 and was wondering, where the oil screen float slips into the oil pick up tube is there supposed to be any sort of seal? Or does it just slip in and get the cotter pin to hold it there. Also, is there anywhere to get a torque listing for the entire tractor? I have the service manual but is not real specific on a few things.

There was probably never a factory torque spec assigned for the non critical fasteners.

Here is a chart for recommended bolt torque, but it is only intended for mating solid metal to metal surfaces. Some judgment will still need to be applied if there is a gasket involved or the factory spec is different.

Thank you, it just seems a bit weird that there is a opening in the oil pick up system. Almost like it would cause low oil pressure. But I guess if there is oil in the pan both areas are sucking oil. Thank you again.

. Thank you for the torque chart as it will be a great help. I tinker on the side and I got this Ferguson as a fun project to learn on. I figured back in the day the farmers just tightened things down as needed vs having a torque wrench with them. Thank you for the help
