Block drain location

I just walked out to my BA and sure enough it does not have a block drain that I can find. But on the left hand front in the lower radiator hose area is a drain that will drain both the block an the radiator at the same time. Mine has a pipe sticking down with a pipe plug on the end of it. I did not go out the the machine shed and check the A/C C which has the same engine as your B has call it lazy but I call it trying the stay warm LOL. Around 15 out right now

There should be two drains on your Allis B. One in the lower radiator hose elbow and one on the left hand side of the block behind the carburetor. If you lived here it would be too late, high of 21F today.

When I pulled the lower hose off both tractors it drained out of radiator and block. About the same amount of water from each side.

It will not hurt and probably help to fill them both up with 50/50 antifreeze and water and start them up and let them warm up. That way any water left in them will get mixed up with the antifreeze so your sure you do not have to worry abut ice some place doing something bad

Old ..... good advice, I was told once by an old fella that some engine blocks (no mention of which ones) have a blind pocket that never gets drained completely and can cause issues sometimes with freezing. So best to have anti-freeze in the engine at all times.

All the Farmall A, B C etc have just one drain as it is at the lowest point of both radiator and block.
