Oldest tractor you own, pictures

It is a cold and wet today in western Pa. I am getting a little bored working on my college homework, so I was hoping to do a little bit of learning and tractor picture gazing on YT.

What is the oldest tractor you own? Do you have any pictures to share?

I find old tractors super fascinating. My Farmall Super C is a 1953, and I was born in 2000, so it was made 47 years before me!

I just read some posts about a Farmall F12 and Regular, I think those old machines are amazing!

Early 35 Deere A tricycle front flat back. Built one month after the open fan shaft was discontinued. No picture. If you have seen one you have seen them all.

Dad's 53 DC, still my most
used tractor.

Here are a few of our 1931 Farmall Regular - she's rusty... and staying that way.

I wound up here at YT about 8 years ago to ask questions for my husband, as he was working on getting the ol' girl running.
Still runs great!

I don't have the pics on my phone... but we do have pics of my husband using the Reg to plow, mow the field lane, etc.

That McCormick Deering Titanic makes me want to throw mine away. What are some of the specs so I can look them up?

41 9N and 44 2N Ford that has been with me for 75 years. Have no idea how to do pictures.

I'm thinking it is a 1944 2N someone gave me to settle a debt. Can't find a picture and not going to wade thru all those weeds trying to take one. If that was my first old tractor I never would have gotten a second one.

Awesome pictures, thanks everyone!

Those old tractors are really amazing pieces of history and machinery!

Fifty years ago I lived on this tractor. It mowed all the hay and cultivated all the corn. Now i get it out of the shed once a year to keep it limber.

MY 1964 Massey 65 Mark II in her working clothes.
Poor gal does need new shoes though.
I'm a 58 model so we're matched about right.

Oldest one I have was my grand father first and only tractor. He got it in 1940 and it was used then. It is a 1935 JD B on steel wheels. I even have the owners manual that came with it when it was new. There are pictures of it in the archive on this site

I know you said oldest but this is a picture of my runners.
Left to right - 43 Farmall H, 50 JD A, 40 Farmall H, 50 Case VAI, and 51 Farmall Cub.
mvphoto45005.jpg

This is a non runner ( 44 H ) I bought in the spring of 2018. It is in the barn being put back together after transmission bearings and seals, and new sleeves and pistons.

I'm not able to put a picture of my 1931 Farmall Regular on here. I did have it painted about 30 years ago. And it still looks fairly good. It runs very good. I would like to know how far apart the serial number is from Sweet feets tractor. Mine was bought originally in New Jersey. My tractors serial number is 120098. I'm 81 years old and the tractor is 88 years old. I believe the tractor is in better shape than I am. Hope Sweet feet might see fit to send a serial number back on here.

It?s a 1939 WD40. Ihc had the first wheeled tractor in a diesel
in 1935. Has 461 cid. Engine starts on gas and switches to
diesel automatically after running for a minute. I made that
sign for it because it was the biggest tractor in those days.
Ooh and only hand crank start. U better eat ur pancakes if
you want to start it. It?s all you can pull on the crank. Starts on
the 3rd pull. Magneto ignition only. They are a powerhouse.
Have another one also and it does very good in the tractor
pulls. Have a few videos on u tube pulling.

No, its not the John Deere AR, although that is probably the oldest one that runs. The actual oldest tractor is the 15-30 McCormick Deering that
has been here since the early seventies. My brother got it running briefly but it sat and seized up solid after that and has been a lawn
ornament ever since.

Wow, really amazing pictures!

I might as well put a picture of my tractor on here, even though its the only tractor I own.

mvphoto45014.jpg

My two oldest, on the left a 1953? JD 40 with three-point sickle mower, bought with a trip-bucket loader after the neighbor passed away. On the right, a 1951 JD MI (SN 10104), Grandpa cosigned a loan for the original owner to purchase the tractor and took over the payments when the other guy defaulted.

mvphoto45017.jpg

Here are mine 2 48 8n's and a 46 2n with wm4 Wagner loader the blue one is a 83 1710.

cvphoto41294.jpg
Wow some nice looking tractors on here this morning I just had to add this one Mr. Ed with blind driver.

My oldest is a '51 Cub, laying off rows for green beans this spring.

cvphoto41333.jpg

My newest is a '55 300. Plowing new ground along the creek for corn this fall.

cvphoto41334.jpg

I started out with a '39 Ford 9N, but quickly wrangled the 300 for the heavy work. I then sold the 9N, and after some swapping, wound up with the Cub and a full
compliment of implements for it. I've had a couple others through the years, but none older. Dad used to have an F-20, I think it was a '37 or '38. Don't
remember, but I do remember spreading lots of manure and hauling lots of hay with that old gal.

There are a lot of very nice tractors pictured here. I'm very surprised there are not more Fordsons. In the 1920's 850,000 Fordsons were built in the USA, capturing 75 percent of the US tractor market in 1923, and another 450,000 were built in the UK into the early 1950's. I suspect most of the Fordsons were scrapped long before tractor collecting and restoration became popular in the 1980's?

Fairly new compared to some. '59 FE-35. Near the end of the production line of the 23c diesels. Only shot I could find. I have the loader off for haying
mvphoto45022.jpg

Here it is pulling a couple of old rakes. An IH 15 and an old IH 4 bar enclosed gear rake from the early 40's.

Unable (not smart enought) to post a
picture but my oldest is a 1929 C case
tractor on full steel. It will really
shake you up good driving on gravel or
very hard ground.

1937 JD B. Still use it for small jobs around the farm. It still has the original engine bearings, never been bored, original pistons. Good running old tractor and fun to drive.
cvphoto41444.jpg

The oldest one I still own is the 1935 F12 playing first base.
