Jon - That is a good one! I get told all the time that I have selective hearing and I usually respond with no, just weeding out the trash!! That response usually gives me a smile.

True story, not long after my grandfather got hearing aids, he tells us ?these are the greatest things ever?. He would turn the volume down so he could sit and read in peace, not having to listen to my grandmother jabber on about the neighbors.

My wife swore I had selective hearing until a hearing test. I now have hearing aids in both ears. sometimes I do forget to put them in so she has to repeat what she says to me, just for the fun of it. Keith
