Farmall carb 45108db and 50981da difference?

Welcome Sam!

I thought someone with more Farmall experience would have answered by now.

Might try reposting on the Farmall board.

But if you have both carbs, and they mount the same, linkage is the same, and are for engines of near the same displacement, they will interchange.

Sometimes the venturi will be a different size, in that case it can be interchanged.

I've seen carbs with different numbers that appeared to be identical in every way, possibly the date of mfg, the factory it was made in, the company that ordered it, will cause a different number to be assigned... But in the case of a carb with an adjustable main jet, get it close, it will work.

(quoted from post at 19:44:32 11/03/19) What is the difference between farmall H carburetors 45108DB and 50981DA. Can you replace one with the other?

One of those is for distillate fuel and kerosene, the other is for gasoline only. They will interchange. The main difference is the fuel metering nozzle, and the nozzle in the distillate carb can be removed and replaced with the nozzle for the gasoline carb, and most likely has already been changed out.
