Ford Jubilee Lever under seat-Not draft control

I have Jubilee with a hydraulic connection and lever under my seat. The Lever seems to be for something Temporary as the lever does not stay on UP position when you let go it spring back to horizontal. It has a hose connection on the end of it. I'm wondering what this is for? what implement would need a temporary boost of Hydraulic pressure?? maybe to lift a cultivator in up position temporarily while turning around for next past??

Just not sure what its for and looks factory???

probably kicks back out, because with nothing connected to output, you get instant overpressure

Tractor has a remote hydraulic outlet controlled by the larger lever to the right.

The small lever to the left is the draft/position control.

It is the remote control for a single acting hydraulic cylinder(power up-gravity down). Your coupler fitting is all rusty and needs replaced,if you want to use it. I watched a you tube video awhile back that was a promo for the Jubilee, and it showed the remote hydraulics in use. I'm not sure what modern implement you would use this on now, that the Jubilee could handle. Mark.

Good point JMOR.....yeah that all makes sense. I don't know what modern implement it would be use for nowday's. I was just curios about it. I don't ever see using it but never say never right?!

aybe not 'modern', but I have used such connection to raise and lower a wheeled disc.

Oh so it is an aftermarket or option..... There is a plate that goes in its place....ok..to sorta cap it all off.

One of its uses is a front snow/dirt blade, very handy. Also rare it is worth whatever you can get for it, have seen them go for several hundred dollars. Does the lever push and pull? If so that might be replumbed to be a two way valve. I will have to go look at my friends tractor to be sure. Check on the Ford forum down below. If you want to sell it I would be interested, email open. Joe

I believe that is a two way (two hose) single spool valve with the
second hose connection plumbed back to itself on the side.

Mine had that side hole plugged and two hoses connected.

I beleive it only Pulls up. I will triple check but I think only one direction.

I think your right...that side steel line looks to be just plumbing it back to itself.....
