Sorry this might be the wrong place to post this but I broke a draw bar pin today. I got lucky I was just unhitching a wagon and pulled of the entire latch and I didn't pull that hard. Looked at the pin and it wasn't welded on very good. If any of you have any of these I'd quite using them. Just don't want anyone hurt. Pin could have dropped out and wagon could have rolled away

I never much cared for "gimmick" hitch pins, seems like all of them have some type of issue that shows up early on. Now that all of such comes from the land of almost right there is even more reasons for me to not use them. Even the regular hitch pins from the farm fleet stores are garbage. I make my own pins from G8 bolts. Good rainy day shop projects. I use a small chain to hold the retaining pin so when a corn stalk pulls it out, and they always do, I do t have to go find another one.

I've replaced pins on Terramite with RK hitch pins at a fraction of the price the dealer wants. I couldn't believe I broke a 1 inch factory pin on the hoe arm.

We've been making hitch pins out of all sorts of things. From old auger shaft with the flighting cut off, to the old S-cam shaft for the grain cart. Never broke one have bent many over the years. Just straighten them back up and oil quench them.
