I have all three handy at my workbench in my shop, along with a good assortment of hammers and WD-40. The big hammer resides by the overhead door.

Not bad.

WD40 as mentioned elsewhere, a crescent hammer and a pair of vise grips and you've got a pretty good Road Kit. "8^)

My dad actually was a farm mechanic. His bib overalls always had an 8" Crescent. 8" pliers, 1/2"x 9/16" open end wrench, his Case XXX knife, (that was older than me) a roll of friction tape, and a can of Copenhagen, and his pocket watch.
