This tractor is the perfect size for me and it has a
cab, heat and AC. Does anyone have one? What's the
pro and cons?
I don't have a use for loader or hoe, just the
tractor.

Will there be big changes to emmisions standards for
the L3560 LE if or when tier 5 comes to this
country.
Opinions for those not living in the US if or when
Stage 5 is coming to you neck of the woods?

Pros: Cab, heat and AC.
Cons: Greatly reduced interaction with extreme weather conditions outside the cab.

Emission standards and other such foolishness are only applied prospectively- that is, on machines made after the implementation of the new standards. Yours will be grandfathered in, and no one will come and say "I'm from the guvment, and I'm here to confiscate your tractor."

Teir 5 is already in the country only a few engine companies are making teir 5 engines as of right now. Haven?t seen and major differences between teir 4 and 5 emissions.

Mike,
Yes it's diesel.
CBD may be a game changer. This year I didn't suffer with spring allergies, no allergic reaction to grass mold. Over the weekend I discovered the best brand of CBD at Covered Bridge festival. I'm hoping I may be able to tolerate tier 5.

If I built a another pole barn hopefully I'll have room for a tractor with cab. One can always hope. Right?

You aren t going to live forever, and a cab tractor will make life easier, and prolong your ability to work outside. And I hear ya can t take it with you, money anyway. You might be able to be buried in your Kubota. And women think that tractors are sexxy
:D

Btw, the Cbd oil is good for me too.

The "Grand L" series is Kubota's deluxe line of compact tractors and is well liked.

I have a grand L6060 and it has been flawless.

Suggest you go to TBN and/or the Orange forum (Kubota Talk) for comments/critique.

George we have one on the lot, no mid pto and to my surprise no rear view mirrors. I doubt that the mid pto is important to you since you use rear finish mower. I am sure there will be mirror kits. Glad you adversity to diesel is coming around. Go somewhere and drive one , doubt that you can smell anything in the cab.

Jm.
I'm building a 30x40x14 pole barn with 12 wide 9 tall door. I also have fall taxes and insurance. So I'm hoping to have enough green stamps saved up to get one next year. Paying cash for barn. Planning to do the same if I buy a tractor.

I'll definitely visit my local dealer and see if I can stand the smell. If I can it will be a Kubota because the dealer is also the case IH dealer.

I will have RxCBD to thank if the Kubota passes the sniff test.

Besides mirrors and mid PTO any other things?

Instead of mirrors what about a backup camera?

I would probably want a camera when hooking up implements.

Cab tractors have an inside rear view mirror. Thought exterior mirrors were standard equipment on cab tractors but maybe not. Don't know of any compact tractors with back up cameras.

You will not be able to smell anything whether cab or open station.

Not sure about 3560, but some Kubota tractors without optional mid PTO do not come equipped with needed internal shaft to add one later without split.

Check this out if you think that you might ever want to add a mid PTO later.

4520,

I would like to pay cash. Need to get barn built first. Second move everything out of current work shop, which is the 24x24 brick garage next to new barn site. Then move underground wire to new barn. Wire old garage to rental house before I ever want to buy a another tractor. Got enough to keep a retired action figure busy.

I would really think about moving to mid mount equipment, it is a lot easier on the spine not having to crank around.

David,

I have a 72 inch rear mount woods finish mower. It has 4 wheels. I leave it on concrete and it's very easy to roll around, easy to hock up and remove.

I have an old dearborn disk and 7 ft snow blade. I find it easy to use a chain and lift them with terramite. No struggle connecting them to 3 pt when I use my homemade device. Need a tractor to pull my 5000# lawn roller.

I'm looking for a tractor with hp close to Jubilee, an air ride, heat and AC. I may want to add SirusXM, google maps, and cruse. LOL.

I'm not sure what mid mount equipment I would use. A belly mower would be nice, however it may get hung up when I'm loading it on implement trailer with dovetail. I would have to remove mower when I want to use snow blade.

I just want to keep it simple. Hoping tier 5 may less air pollution and CBD will prevent headaches.

There are some clean burning diesels pickups that I can tolerate when I'm next to at a stop light.

So what improvement will tier 5 have over tier 4?

Have heard nothing about Tier V in US, and hopefully won't.

The nonsense pendulum has stopped moving and will likely swing far back.

Stay tuned.

CBD helping allergies. Now that is something I would really like to try , but I am also worried as my job does random drug testing and hard to know what one is buying ?

If you use 100 percent CBD, it doesn't show on a drug test. It is crazy some of the stories I've heard about things it has cured. I use 1 to 1 blend because the CBD gets rid of arthritis pain and THC might help the glaucoma and macular degeneration.

George, I wonder what part of the diesel exhaust bothers you. I for example get an almost immediate head ache smelling ether(starting fluid). Tier 3 I believe removed the diesel particulates-soot/smoke- and tier 4 also removed nitrous oxides from the exhaust. The theory is the output will be cleaner than the input. You may be sensitive to the soot particles in the exhaust. When these engines go thru a regen, there is a smell-you may need to consider that. But the inside of the exhaust pipe is clean: no smoke/no soot.
I was a truck mechanic for 40 years, and sometimes a truck would have an exhaust leak. One driver would never know it,and another would tell of getting an awful headache while driving. And a few were in between-'I thought I smelled something'. I used to think it was the carbon monoxide, but now a days I am not so sure. Mark.

Yes the pendulum has slowed or stopped in USA. That doesn't mean the rest of the world has stopped with moving forward, stage 5. So do you think the Kubota sold in other countrie requiring stage 5 will be different than those sold in USA ?

USA is the strictest on emissions. Here at work we can still sell some of our diesels overseas but we can't sell them here in the USA.

Some of these newer diesel trucks if I get stuck behind them in my car they really make me sick. There is a weird smell to them also, no smoke seen ? The older ones belching black smoke didn't bother as bad ?

I have a L3560 Kubota with cab and all. Only problem with it is when going in straight line or driving down side of road the steering wheel turns. Asked dealer about it, he checked pump , found no problem with it. He took tractor for drive and confirmed it did rotate when going down road. Called Kubota , they said they have had others calling them about same thing. Said it had something to do with the steering cylinder pressure release. Ask dealer about it again yesterday, he said no fix yet. Have to just live with it. Will seed what happens.

Could be the same problems the neighbor had with the BX2200. I think she is on her 3 rd steering cylinder ? They leak by the seals inside.

That is what they (Kubota) said. They have a one way cylinder and they leak the pressure off. Really bad when driving on uneven surface like down side of road where it is sloped. Dealer said they noted it and if it gets worse let them know. Kubota say that is just part of it.
