installed a factory rebuilt carburetor about a year ago. Didn't drain bowl needle stuck dropped bowl unstuck needle. tractor runs only with choke almost closed low speed. let tractor run to operating temp. drained float bowl.

That stuff happens. Makes no difference that the carburetor is basically new. If the tractor is to just set for any length of time, it is best to shut the fuel off at the sediment bowl while the engine is running, wait for the engine to run out of gas, and then turn the ignition off.

Nothing to be scared of taking it off and cleaning it out. Just use your phone and take pictures as you take it apart so you know how it goes back together. Any screw that looks like an adjustment, gently screw it in until it stops while counting the revolutions. Write that down so you know where to set it after it goes back together, then remove the screw.
