There have been times I wish I had a chopper on tracks like the one in the video. LOL This harvest is filmed in Holland. What really surprised me is the fairly crude job they were doing. Leaving a lot of corn on the ground and running the trucks over badly. Usually the videos show meticulous operators in Holland and the other Northern-European countries. This looked like some of the jobs that custom operators do around here. LOL

What a mess! Compaction and rutting of That heavy Dutch clay soil will make next years farming a nightmare as well.

Some people are just glad they can get their chopping done. I've been in times when we tried pushing the chopper like we did in sugar beets to poor success also tried other ideas to no avail.

It appears that the primary objective is to get to the next job ASAP as opposed to crop yield. I was helping my neighbors once driving the tractor pushing the dump wagon. Being there helped them to go a lot faster than they had been before I got there, and mid- afternoon they called a halt because we had chopped six loads which they said was their best day yet. Time to take a break before chores and have a short day, LOL.
