When we left there were about 17-18 G's there, more will show up today.

Dumb question, but what are the covers/tracks on the rear tires of the G for?

Not sure about the tracks didn't get a chance to talk to the owner. Know the sign said it had a lettuce planter on it

There used to be a lot of Japanese and Filipino vegetable farmers in Tacoma and nearby Puyallup- usually 10 to 20 acres, intensively farmed. I was talking to one of the last in the business (most had sold out for big bucks to developers in the 70's and 80's due to urban encroachment, and no kids wanting to take over). He had 8 Farmall Super A's, each with a different implement, so he didn't have to change implements much. He said some of the farmers had a fleet of G's, and the A guys teased them about their strange little tractors. Turned out the shoe was on the other foot when they sold them, though- the A guys were getting $1,000 apiece for their Super A's, the G guys were getting 3 grand plus.
