Anybody know how to replace the driveshaft seals behind the brakes on this tractor? I have fluid intrusion onto the brake discs and brakes won't stop tractor. I'm in the mountains so brakes are badly needed. Lots of hills.

i have worked on the bigger leylands but i believe they are all the same.first take off the fenders you dont have to do this but it makes working
easier. then take off the brake drum covers remove the disks and calliper. inside the drum there are bolts that hold the drum to the transmission. i
would use a six point socket . the drum has dowels so it might take some prying to get them off. now you can get the seal out. where i worked we had a
pipe machined to drive the seal in i think its an odd size. when you go to put the drum on you will have to make a sleeve to cover the splines on the
shaft. i use to cut a pop can and use grease on the sleeve. then you can slide the drum on and put the brakes back together.
