How much rain can a kingdom get?

Been raining for two weeks or more. I put this pail outside a couple weeks ago, thought I would take a pic when I looked inside. I had lost track of how many I inches we had gotten, but this sums it up pretty well.

Measures 11", but it is wider on top than bottom. The good news is it can't get wetter, just stay the same or get drier at this point.

not as much as here in Alberta Canada. has been raining since june and we have had more than that. got stuck spraying the crop and ruts all over and got stuck swathing it. waiting on weather to combine.

Been like that since last year here. Wet spring and most of the summer. Still have some oats not cut too. Likely shot by now.

We got 3" Friday and Saturday. Looks like a dry week then rain and snow for late in the week.

I guess we've gotten more rain than you. I also had a 5-gal bucket. Just a few rusty nails in the bottom. Water is kissing the rim of the bucket now and was emptied out about 2 weeks ago.

Unfortunately, we're also the area low spot, so everyone else's water drains to here as well. Cats might have to start growing gills!

We could use some here in Virginia, it has not rained in 6 weeks and 4 weeks before that very little.

If it rains any more here I think the farmers will have to put the combine head on front of a boat. Thinking bout taking canoe to work to save gas lol

30 miles West of Madison there has been 5.68 inches since October 1st and 46.12 inches since April 26 when we got our new electronic rain gauge. Have never seen so much mud.

Over here on the west edge of the Red river valley, the creek is running like spring time. Many township roads closed/washed out.

Finally getting some rain, we got 1/2" in July, 1.1" 1st week of August and nothing but 90+ degree days for the last 2 months.

Starting raining just after lunch and still coming down nice a slow, 1.2" so far and they say it might rain all night.
Around here we're loving this rain, pasture and hay ground has dried up, we've had several field fires and were put under a total burn band, some folk were upset when told they couldn't use their outdoor grills

I definitely agree with your statement. I think we had 7-8 inches here (SE NE) in the past week. It would not be so bad if it was nice steady rains, but NO we keep getting fast and hard downpours. The 5 inch rain we got last weekend lasted 2 maybe 3 hours accompanied by 30+ mph winds. Needless to say lots of water over the road, fields and ditches washed out and crops all but stripped or flattened.
