IH TD15B/175B questions

So I did some work to one today. Guy who owns i says it has sat for years with out running. I thought it a bit odd that I could grab the fan and turn the crankshaft a bit. But any how it is not locked up. Pulled the exhaust pipe off and looked down into the manifold and it had what looked like a bunch of cotton fibers which I figure was a mouse nest or some such thing. The guy wants to have me pull the injectors out and then do an ATF treatment before we try to start it. Plus pull the valve cover so as to check for stuck valves etc. Also the seat seem to be stuck so I cannot get the batteries out so will have to figure that out.

He also has a IH574 gas that needs some TLC and a new seat which I will also be working on. Took what was left of the old seat off today and will be trying to find a new one for it

Well IF it has the right seat on the 15b the bottom of the cushion is plywood and just sits down on two dowels right at the front corners, nothing required but pry up with a tire iron there in the corner. Along with what you are going to do might need to try and prime the charging pump on the transmission. If it has sat that long may be dry and it is easy to burn up those little aluminum pumps.

This one appears to have a lever on the left side of the seat that you push down to disengage a latch so you can flip the seat up and forward. No way with the seat cushion pulled up that one can remove one let alone both batteries. As for priming the pump how does one go about doing that??
