John Deere 145 loader problem

I have a John Deere 1530 with a 145 loader on it and I m having a problem with the bucket slowly dumping when the tractor is running. I can t find any leaks and the loader itself stays in the air without settling just seems to be when the pump is spinning the bucket will slowly dump. Should also note it does have pressure when it s dumping because even with the bucket on the ground it will dig in and start pulling/lifting the front of the tractor. I think it s called a Cessna control valve with two separate handles can this be adjusted or does it sound like another issue? Thanks

Don't know if it's adjustable, but you are on the right track.

Sounds like the valve is not centering when released.

If you hold slight pressure on the handle, will it stop curling? And will it hold position with the engine off?

If so, suspect the valve.

If it wants to gravity creep (engine off) no matter the valve position, suspect cylinder piston seals.

Someone may have experience with that particular valve, but if you take it apart, probably find a broken return spring.

Just be careful that the bucket is fully down and sitting flat on the ground before breaking any lines loose. Don't interchange the spools or turn them around, work carefully so not to scratch or nick any surfaces, keep everything clean.

Is valve spool is in center when releasing lever you only option to correct bucket creep is replace complete valve with a closed center control valve.

I have a similar problem on my loader. It has the same type control valves and the lift arms creep up. Its not bad enough to do anything about. I have to adjust it down about four times if I use it all day.
