[i:654c4848f0]What did single sided loaders solve?[/i:654c4848f0]

A slump in axle bearing sales?

That tiny little bucket wouldn't be much faster than a pitchfork.

yeah, but it WASN'T a pitchfork. that was the main point. like when my Dad put a hand trip bucket on his Int 300 utility- we didn't have to pitch the manure pack out of the heifer barn any more, or shovel gravel, or...

After having the same loader on both an 860 and then a 961, I can say it is more stable on the 961 due to longer wheelbase and extra weight of the rear axle drop boxes. It is surprising what it will lift too. We also have the bucket extender which makes it about 2 feet wider for snow/light material. Don't use it much anymore with snowblowers.

Au contraire, mon fr?re. I spent a LOT of time with a pitchfork as our "loafing shed" for the beef critters was a turn-of-the-century milking parlor with the stanchions removed. No way to get a tractor/loader in there. Dig it out with a fork, pitch it out the window into the spreader.

The comment was tongue-in-cheek, but that IS a pretty tiny bucket.
