Engine Swap

I have a 1968 4000 diesel that the engine is wore out on. I have found a 1998 4630 Turbo tractor that is being parted out. The engine is good, with 3100hrs on it. Will the 4630 engine bolt up to my 4000. My 4000 has the 8X2 transmission. I know that I will have to modify the intake piping, which isn't a big deal. But I am not sure about the bell-housing and the front end bolting up. they appear to be the same bolt pattern.
Any help would be much appreciated!

That goes both ways, can't remember how maning times I've see a post about a 4630 only to find they're talking about a JD instead of a Ford.
Besides if everyone had really read the part were he stated it was a 1998 4630 they would have realized he wasn't talking about a JD 4630 that was built in the 70's

(quoted from post at 07:52:27 09/28/19) Can I buy the worn out one?? I am looking for a core engine to rebuild. Al

Thanks for the offer, but I am gonna keep it.

I appreciate those who have responded with helpful information.

To those who don t have enough common sense to know that a 1998 4630 is a Ford, not a John Deere (built in the 70 s, as already stated by someone else) and given the fact that I am working on a Ford 4000, I am not sure you need "tractor expert" under your user name, nor should you even be commenting.
I do apologize for not being more specific in mentioning the brand/make.
