Fowler VF, Field Marshall skid unit with Fowler tracks. Both Marshall and Fowler were owned
by the same holding company.

Fowler VF built in the UK late 40s early 50s. Single cylinder 2 cycle 40 hp. I own one in central Kansas. A
rare machine in this part of the world.

Hi Jim you need to join the Marshall Club here in the UK. Just Google and you will see what we get up to. I do not own a Marshall so when we have anything Marshall I borrow one from my pal who as got about 20 of them dating from 1932 to 1958. MJ

MJ I spent a lot of time doing service work on rolforming machines in Sherburn of Malton at the Kingspan factory and BW at Carnaby and others across northern Yorkshire.This is what started my interest in Field Marshalls. I have 2 series 3 and the VF.I came home from a trip to the UK and told my family I am going to have something different referring to Field Marshalls. I said everyone has an A John Deere.I never dreamed it would happen but it did. Unknowingly our paths may have crossed at Bolsover Castle. The year I was there it was one muddy mess. There was a chap running around with a D2 Cat pulling stuck vehicles out.Looked like he was having fun. I do belong to The Field Marshall Appreciation Society on Facebook.I always enjoy your comments.
