That was a dumb place to dump a brush pile....

About 4 years ago I grubbed out a fence row. I dumped the roots and sticks in a dry ditch with the intention of burning it "eventually". Thursday morning we got roughly 4.5" of rain in an hour. I then got to dig the sticks outta the flood gate. I guess anything worth doing is worth doing twice!

The other two pics were someone else s sticks at another floodgate

Oops, wrong order.

First pic - my organic corn laid falt

Second pic - someone else's sticks in my flood gate. Waiting for the owner to come claim them.

Got a similar problem in a field of mine.
Cut the trees down along the road ditch 4-
5 years ago, burned the dry stuff, piled
it up again figured burn it again the
following year. Then next year came. And
then the next. Still sitting there. More
spread out with the floods pulling it down
the ditch and once in a while catching it
with equipment. It's easy to make more
work for ourselves.

Was a mess around here! Plenty of clean
up for raod crews cleaning up landslides.
Wisonsin river rose fast enough it went
across 18 at Bridgeport.
