Gotta love craigslist

Uh, I'm not getting the joke. Maybe they meant mechanically restored... Anyway, 1400 for a running AC B in relatively good condition would be gone in hours around here.

Yes, the owner bought it restored twenty years ago and has used it and farmerized it since. The ad doesn't have scammer language.

I CANNOT TELL that it is, how can you tell? The only thing I can see is no contact info. And there is a town in Ohio close by me with that town name. Price don't seem out of line to me for a running tractor.

I agree Leroy, the ad could be more complete but a scam ..... I doubt it. Scams usually don't fart around with $1000 tractors from my experience. "Just knowing" it's a scam is a great skill to have, I wish I had that and then I'd get a bit more involved with the stock market. Like .... "I just know that stock is gonna soar (or take a nose dive), I just know it" ....

(quoted from post at 19:02:18 09/16/19) I got a chuckle out of this ad. Thought you all might too.
Not mine, don't know the seller.

CraigsList

Only thing I see is the fact that they left absolutely no way to contact them. The "complete restore" is also an exaggeration at best. And the price is optimistic.

If they are scammers, they're pretty poor at it. How are you gonna scam someone if they have no way to contact you? Scam ads usually have a contact email in the pictures and have much newer more valuable equipment at a ridiculously low price. They will also sometimes have letter jumbles or or word jumbles in the description. They will also sometimes have punctuation marks in the words.

Scam ads are typically easy to spot. I think this one is just from a person who is not very good at pricing or describing their tractor, and who doesn't understand how CL works.
