Leaves Turning

The leaves are starting to turn colour here and the ground is slowly drying up. I took the Merc out for a short drive today but the back roads were not great having a few spots with water still laying. So I didn't get as far as I planned and ended up getting the best picture right here at my yard. Maple leaves turning first and some willow. Poplars still mostly green. We hit the high 70s today. Couple of days ago I needed my furnace running. Land of extremes.

I would love to have some 75+ degree weather, our average high is 77 and we are running 10-15 degrees above normal. 88 the next two days and over 90
next weekend. Way too hot for mid september, i've never seen it this hot during this time of year. It did this last year and in a weeks time it went
from 85 to 55 in a weeks time, never did have any fall.

I have leaves on the ground already.
Typically my last leaves will fall after thanksgiving.

Pretty extreme today as we got well into the 80s. About a degree away from breaking a century old record. Recorded some leaf video from the rear bumper of the Merc yesterday. Great location to listen to the straight piped flathead.
