farm auction results

I guess it is all about location, I doubt you could get an auctioneer to have that sale around here and if it were to happen a few Mennonites and may 20 other folks. That sale would be called a junk sale. Just too much of that old stuff here already. Like thew guy said the JD planter boxes would go to some flea-market guy and the rest begging for a bid.

I sure wish I had known about that sale. I have been looking for a nice original Ferguson 30 tractor for years. That one was in really good condition with no dents in the sheet metal. All I find are ones with ten coats of paint on them and cobbled together parts.

A cousin of mine bought my maternal Grand Father's Ferguson 30 tractor. It has not set inside since then. He has let it set out and rust away. This was after begging my Grand Mother to sell it to him. That tractor had never been wet before he bought it. I get mad every time I drive by his place and see it setting there. A year after he bought it I offered him double what he had given for it. He mouthed off that I would never own it. He is too lazy to work much and is jealous of anyone that has things they worked for. His farm has been on the auction block twice for back taxes and he will scrounge up enough money to stop the sale. He will mess up and not save it one of these times. LOL Just had to vent some. LOL

Thank you for posting the auction video for us. There are not too many auctions like that one anymore. A lot of old one owner stuff on that sale.

JD, I will make you a deal,, I will help you, if you help me. I want to buy my Great Grandmas farm that I grew up next to, and worked many hours on. My uncle who never spent a day working on this farm after he left for the Army somehow got it after Grandpa died. He died soon after, and now his nasty wife owns it. Most of it has grown up to trees and buildings are falling down. She would rather eat worms then see my get it. I would be glad to buy that tractor for you then just drop it in your driveway. He may not sell to you, but someone else might be able to get the job done. Think you can sweet talk old aunt Mary for Me??? LOL
