Corn Beans in Western Ohio

Went to see the grandkids in Cincinnati yesterday. Traveled on !-75 which goes through some good farmland for about 170 miles. Maybe 1% of the beans are starting to get some yellow leaves and probably half of the corn which there is not much of still has light colored silk yet and ears are small! Harvest will be very late

I did a little 1200 mile crop tour last week on my motorcycle. I started in Mich. and went trough Wisconsin, Eastern Iowa, Northern Illinois, and Indiana. I thought overall everything looked better than I expected with Michigan being the worst and with the most no planted acreage. Crops are all late but appear to look pretty good as long as we don't get a early frost. I have heard Ohio was not as good as they usually are crop wise but haven't been through there since last May when things looked awful wet with nothing planted.

Around central Oh there?s some unplanted fields but not many crops actually don?t look to bad for all the wetness early then dry in August they are late maturing
