Isn't that considered the Maltese cross, and yes it is used on German Army equipment.

Jeff some are outlawed; some are not as there have been movements to bring some back even as worn medals.
The problem is people see the Maltese cross; Eisernes Kreuz cross; Iron cross; Balkankreuz cross; and others germany has used over the years and think all of them are the same thing.
