I acquired this unit recently and I'm looking for any info about it. It's a 6 cylinder gas motor that I'm told ran well several years back. Once I know what I may be able to use it for, I can decide if it's worth fixing and / or restoring.

Engines like that where used for irrigation pumps and other such things there an engine was needed n a field or other such place where there was no power form electric lines
 
As nice as that unit is it must have been used inside for some purpose. The exhaust looks like it was
plumbed to go outside.
 
I can't really imagine what I would do with this unit. Do any of you know a good place or website where I might sell it to someone who wants to restore it or use it for its
intended purpose?
 
Hey, there, I'd put it on my IHC #57 baler!!!
Might be overkill, but it would work!!
What's wrong with the engine??
Is the engine stuck or what??
Another better place would be on my NH 1281 self-propelled baler.
 
Guy said the valves needs to be freed up, he claims you soak them with "weasel ****" and gently tap them until they move well. He also said the fuel pump leaks and will need to be resealed.
