Working on a woods mower i replaced the seal now going to put in oil . Where is this sight plug they talk about i see no oil level plug other than on top ? how much oil and or deere corn head grease ? how
many tubes of grease ? i want to be able to tell the comuster how to maintance it later on .

When in doubt half way up the input shaft works. Use a piece of wire for a dip stick.

yep thats what the implament parts guy said he sold me some fluid gear thick stuff .

I use a stick to check the oil in my Cadet 84, I run it about 3" from being topped off at the beginning of the day (been doing it that way for many years with no problems).
