Which type of clamps do you prefer and why? Does the application matter on the type you choose?
I lean towed the worm gear/screw type adjustables. The spring type, particularly when they are old, I struggle with, plus, if they leak, you cannot give them the extra turn. Also, I find it easier to reach a screw driver or wrench into tight spots than a pair of pliers and try to rotate and pull.
