1948 OTA (Oak Tree Appliance) 10hp 3-wheel tractor

OTA tractors were built at Birmingham and fitted with a UK built Ford 10hp side
valve car engine and gearbox. The drive then went through a reduction box then to
the Ford rear axle. In the late 1940s here in the UK a lot of small manufactures
could not get licences from the goverment to get the steel to make their goods and
allthrough OTA had got orders for tractors they could not make them. MJ

May I just say, you're amazing MJ!

Also, that's a nice representation of tractor manufacturers in the background. I see David Brown, Ford, Ferguson, JD, AC, Case, IH, maybe an Oliver, just over the steering wheel to the left. What is the big red in the middle, Belarus?

Nice pic, kcm!!

The picture was taken on setting up day at a show that I orginise every year for the
Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultral Society Show in May. The OTA tractor belongs
to Tom Renyard who has the largest collection of OTA and Monach tractors in the UK.
The monach tractor superceeded the OTA tractor and was made by the Singer car
company to try and get more materials to build the tractors. MJ.

(quoted from post at 12:26:53 08/27/19) The big red one is a Polish built Ursus tractor Designed on the lines of the Zetor tractors. MJ

Your knowledge is very impressive MJ.

The rear wheels on the Ferguson don't look like any I have ever seen on a Fergie before. Your thoughts on those please and thank you.
