International 79c wood chipper for you cub cadet guys

I went to an auction to today hoping to buy an Allis chalmers 5 shank disk chisel which ended up going for over 4K wich blew my mind, but I always seem to drag somthing interesting home from auctions. As I was sitting on an old hay wagon roasting my ?a s s ? off in the sun, I spotted this old international chipper. So I figured if I?m gonna fry myself crispy in the sun, I?m going to do it while looking for a model number tag. Once I found it I retreated to a patch of shade under a small tree and proceeded to whip out my trusty IPhone and google the model number. Come to find out this model is pretty rare and cub cadet guys seem to pay a decent amount to have these in there collection, so I waited and to my suprise no one even bid against me. Has anybody ever owned an international 79c chipper before? I believe you can also mount these on a lawn tractor.

Sounds like an auction I was at two years ago. I wanted this cart Sooo bad. It is a very heavyweight fabricated nursery cart. I went with enough money for a war. One other lady was bidding against me till we got up to $65.oo. I took it home. Just love this beast. Built like the Bismarck! :) Yes I mowed the grass.

The 79c is not really considered a "Cub Cadet" item.
More of another International Harvester homeowner piece of equipment.

Does your 79c still have the original 7hp engine?

Now the 59m shredder mounted on the front of a Cub Cadet similar to a snowthrower and utilized the tractors engine for power.
For a CC collector piece, those are more desirable.

The 79c seems to be much more rare than the 59m however.
As it was the top model in the line offered by IH.
