There is an auction coming up that has one on it. The auctioneer of course says it's really nice. I don't know anything about Bush Hogs or batwing mowers but would like one for mowing pastures. Anyone have opinions on them or even different brands to look at? I haven't really decided if I'll go or not. Been pretty soured on auctions lately. Seems like each one I go to I swear it'll be my last. All I have is an auction picture and it does look nicer than any sitting on local dealers lots.

Those are heavy duty machines. The only trouble is parts,or I should say finding the numbers, they used several different suppliers for pto driveline. They must of used what ever came in that day as nothing has any rhyme or reason.

I sell rotary cutters and the l stands for lite also lost part numbers000as when you need a part the co will have lost the no

I have a 2715L, which is basically the same machine with a smooth top. I have never had a problem with it. I can't speak to any issues finding parts as I have not needed any so far - now that I say that, something will probably break tomorrow.

I have a Bush Hog 12820 bat wing that I really like. I had a 10 ft. rigid Bush Hog that had a TON of acres on it and was still working good, sold it to a friend of mine who is still using it.
