That?s quite the contraption. Like I say if you think
an American made machine Is engineered poorly
Just drag something foreign made home!!

Fact is foreign built machines have been ahead of US built with things like Differential Lock,low/creeper gears, multiple PTO speeds, great fuel economy, etc, probably why US companies like John Deere have
sold many foreign built rebranded tractors over the years.

Aint that the truth, harder to work on cruder assembly.
That could be dangerous setting right at blade not to mention dust on you

AVELING BARFORD CALF DOZER built at Grantham here in the UK. A few in preservation
here but I do not know the specs of these little machines. Here in the UK all the
telephone cables were above ground on poles then in the late 1950s the phone company
(GPO) started to put them underground. After digging the trenches and laying the
cables they back filled the trenches with these Calfdozers. MJ.

I agree with Traditional Farmer. I have a little foreign tractor. It has 4 wheel brakes, 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steering, front and rear differential locks. Rotate the seat and drive forward or backward.6 speeds ether way. Show me a American tractor that has all that

Looks very much like the fore runner of the modern
day tracked skid steer to me. I have been had a ski
steer for nearly 35 years, and I can tell you they are
tops for back filling trenches and doing close up fine
finish grades. Equipment and methods of doing
things in Europe, as rule of thumb, are ten years
ahead of what goes on in North America . Robot
milking equipment, wrapping wet silage bales, and
tractors with front 3pth , common in Europe long
before they cross the Atlantic

Sitting out front like that, if you're cruising along and hit something solid, you might be taking a closer look at what you hit before you know what happened!

Thanks for the info MJ. Had no idea what this li'l machine was. Doesn't look like a prototype, so figured it was likely production made.

Actually set up very similar to my Case/Davis trencher with the blade on one end the trencher on the other,I love sitting right on top the blade to be able to see what I'm doing.

Little too close to the action for me, believe I would get a pick and shovel if I had to get that close to know
what I was doing.

Join Deere sold yanmar tractors to keep the price competitive with the market for people who don?t want to spend a lot for a tractor to do yard work and to compete with international who sold Mitsubishi Allis Chalmers also sold an import . Oh and that highly advanced yanmar it has a siphon cooling system like the one In the two cylinder John Deere?s you know the one they got rid of in the 50s .

Why would you hit something. You're supposed to be driving it, not riding it.

John Deere sold German built tractors for years sell India built ones now.Nothing wrong with that either just because its built in a certain place doesn't make it good or bad.
Yanamr built/builds some really good tractors my Yanmar YM330 same tractor as a JD 950 has been an excellent tractor with almost no problems put a lot of hours on it
every year cutting hay in front of a NH 456 mower never had a heating problem even in 100 degree temperatures.

You need to get better Yanmar information I went over an checked my Yanmar YM330 has a water pump, also has 540 and 1000 RPM PTO on the same shift lever,My David Browns have the same
540 and 1000 PTO set up.How many US built tractors have that? You really want to step up to a tractor with a lot of great features get one of those Long/Landini R9500 models like I have, you'd be in tall Cotton then.(LOL)
