Who made the Deere 125 skid steer and are parts avail?

A guy near me has a Deere 125 skid steer for sale. The machine looks to be in reasonably good condition for its age, but currently has no spark when cranked.

It's the gas version. I believe from reading online that the diesel was a Teledyne, but no mentions on what the gas version had for a motor.

My question is who made this skid steer for Deere and what engine is likely to be in it? Was it an Owatonna or an OMC or something else? I've found a lot of mentions that say Deere was not building skid steers on thier own in this era, but nobody seems to say who built these for Deere.

Anybody have any experience with these machines, especially the gas version?

Many thanks.

Owatonna is omc . The very first John Deere skid
loaders were owatonna the later ones were new
Holland . The next ones were John Deere built

(quoted from post at 13:57:43 08/14/19) The engine is a Continental Y112.

Many thanks for that, Carp. Nice to know at least who made the engine.

Anyone have any experience with these machines? Good, bad points?

How is parts availabiliy generally?
