1971 case 570 gas clutch questions

Hi everyone I'm new to this forum. Just bought a 1971 case 570. The clutch is stuck. I plan on taking it out in high gear and laying into the breaks with the clutch pedal pushed in to see if it frees up. What I would really like to know is whether or not the clutch is an oil bath clutch or a dry clutch. I took the inspection cover off and everything is covered in oil. So just trying to figure out if the rear main seal is bad. Also in search of a complete PTO assembly for this tractor sense the previous owners rednecked it. Any help or advice is appreciated

The clutch housing should be dry. It could be a leak from rear main, or from tranny.
If the oil is not dripping out of the bell housing badly, I wouldn't get too worried
about things.
As far as the complete PTO, it would help to know where you are
located. There are sources of used parts all across the country.------Loren

I am in central NY. There are 2 salvage yards in this area that could likely help you
if you can't find something closer to you. They are Goodrich Auction Service, Newark
Valley NY, and MacFadden and Sons, Sharon Spa NY.-----Loren
