This hitch attachment cost me $300..00 CND. For the picture, I stuck a old ball in the hole on top where you could fasten a goose neck trailer. Has two holes, one with a broomstick in it, which will take bale spears if desired. And a square tube type receiver, like on the back of a truck, which you could put whatever type hitch needed for pulling

Though this might be interesting to some.

Is that broomstick for the wife to ride along ? LOL " sorry no offense meant I couldn't help myself "

My wife bought me one almost like that. We use it all the time. Got it from Amazon... little under $200 handy tool!

I built this one when we first bought the JD, and if I were to do it again it would have a receiver like yours! I use it for moving trailers around, don't have to get off the tractor, and for skidding trees.

Very nice, just watch it when turning short with a gooseneck trailer it might hit the tire/fenders

Looks nice Bruce ! Sometimes just easier moving stuff with a tractor than a truck ! I'm sure you'll wonder how you were ever without it !

I like the bale spear idea I may have to do that to my round bale spear so I could also carry big square bales

Looks like a well made unit. I could use one on my J/D 5203 for moving my flat bed and travel trailer around the property.

You will find you use it all the time. I like the bale spears sockets too.

I have some of the steel rear quick hitches. I put the spear sockets in the top cross bar. That way I do not have to switch the quick hitch and bale spear when making hay. My Mow conditioner is a two point hitch model. I just remove the spears when mowing.

Still trying to save pto shaft today by filing bruises on splines, so shaft will once again slide together. Going to need to replace safety shield. Did another search for the pin that holds the draw bar to the tractor, but once again only found dirty boots for my trouble, going to have to come up with another. Tractors pto shaft seems undamaged .

Mike,
The broom stick is what's left of speaker's airplane. She was flying back at night to DC on Halloween during a storm when it crashed. She wasn't instrument rated and shouldn't have been flying. She walked away from the crash and didn't report the accident to the FAA.

That?s neat having the option to add bale spears, I built my 3 point trailer mover years ago and can move bumper pull and gooseneck trailers with it. It comes in mighty handy when I?m mowing grass and need to move multiple trailers around, I keep my trailer mover hooked up to a dedicated tractor at all times, I?m fortunate to have enough tractors to do so...

Made mine several years ago. Welded some clevis hooks on it for chain. Works great for dragging stuff. It stays on the tractor lots. In fact its on it now.

A word of caution on gooseneck trailers. They are typically fairly heavy on the tongue and will get the tractor's front really light in a hurry.

Thanks for the caution , I Agree ,,, However , For moving empties
about the farm yard This could work ,CAREFULLY ,. But always be
aware that hitch can ruin more than just a tailgate ,The goose neck
hitch is pointed atthe poor drivers back , A FAST KILLER ..I do
like the concept of a everything type of hitch tool..

Best thing ever invited for moving goosenecks around. I love the one I have. A lot easier and quicker than having to hook a truck to them and move.
