Had some hard work to do this weekend. Started by baling some oats hay I cut a while back that got a couple small rains on. It's not as bad as it looks, but not salable. I'll get some calves to feed it to. Used my 400d and 200 baler, the wagon under the rack is also a case. 200 bales is a lot more work now than it used to be. Lol
That's Jeff driving the tractor, my wife even helped driving the truck to pick up the bales that didn't fit on the wagon.
Even Baxter helped.
Saturday I had to work in the morning, but started cutting oats in the afternoon. Had some carb issues to work out, but after that the 955 swather worked great. The oats is pretty poor.
Sunday I worked on the combine some. The bracket that holds the lower sieve in the front somehow got lost and allowed the lower sieve to get destroyed.
I was able to get a sieve at my salvage yard luckily. So Sunday after finishing the swathing I fabbed up a new holder.
That should work. Going to be a busy week getting the rest of the combine ready for the oats. Still have to put the head on and a few other things to do. Hope to be able to combine next weekend.
