A group of us are looking to go hog hunting over christmas or next spring. Have any of you guys gone or know where yo g (states. etc...)

I go hog hunting every chance I get. I have dogs. I hunt with a couple of other guys who have dogs too. I live in Texas. We do not hunt with guns with the dogs. We stick them with a knife or catch em live.
 
good luck finding a place they all bit-h about the damage they do but all want $ to kill a few 500 to 1000 per hunter. did find good hunting in Florida on Eglen AIR FORCE BASE. fair chase only NO baiting THEY are smart way smarter then deer good luck

it used to be the state of missouri encouraged hog hunting on all walk in with no season, no rules, the only thing they asked was that you send in tissue samples for testing. its been a few years back, but i dont think its changed. they also had a map of known hot populations. makes for some very cheap hunting, no tags, no limit, and nobody cared what state you were from.

Again, thats been a few years ago that i went, so maybe somebody local to MO can correct me if i am wrong. I used to go around stockton lake
 
Missouri did have open season on hogs but they have flipped completely and now NO hunting hogs. Turns out dudes were releasing more than were being killed.
 
Texas has open season on Feral Hogs. All over the state. Parks and Wildlife guys around Austin area are trying ways to eliminate them without eliminating other game that would be attracted to the trap or poison. You won't believe the complexity of their current idea. If there's a Utube on that thing get some pop corn, beverage of your choice and kick back for a real show!
