Coleman FWA axle?

I have acquired what i believe is a coleman FWA axle. Unsure of what model it came off of, unsure of condition other than it came off of a running tractor years ago. I am looking to get more info before i sell regarding the possible value as I am unable to find hardly anything online. The few forums I looked at people were saying they have seen them go for 4-7k. Any info is appreciated, and if anyone may be interested in making me an offer please PM me. It is located in southeastern NC. Thanks in advance!

I can let others chime in on what it is but I can tell best by the hubs on the outside of the wheel. Do you have the drop box and drive shaft? I would say you can buy a running MM tractor with the FWA any day of the week for 4-7K. I personally would consider your front end to be parts. Maybe worth 1-2k on a good day. Lets see what the experts think.

Yes id DID come off of a large IH tractor for sure I do know that. It does have the large dish caps, im almost 100% its a coleman unit.

Without the drop box and drive shafts it's pretty useless. If the wrong thing's broke inside, it's scrap metal.

$4-7K is only for a good, complete axle. Last couple I've seen that looked about the same as that brought <$2K.

I bought this one for $750 at a salvage yard.unless you have a complete conversion it's not in much demand..

Looks like an IH 66 series front pedestal casting. So, it may have come from an IH tractor. That busted tie rod don't look like it's last days may
have been the best. Probably a good parts unit. Not worth much without the gear case & shaft though.
