Known here as a Dumper and first used in the 1940s and a lot still used today.
Thwates, Benford and Barford are the most popular ones and still being made today in
large numbers. MJ
 
They were common in the Ely area used in open pit mining operations. The ones I looked at were ~4 yard, and had pegged tracks for the hopper to
roll forward on. Jim
