Our little home town puts on an ice cream social , with car cruise in and old tractors once a year. There were some green tractors there , but couple of orange ones caught my eye. I am by no means a Massey Fergerson man but the little 135 diesel was in my opinion one of the best restorations I have ever view. It was perfect in ever detail.

Yes sir, I remember those MF 135 and 165 tractors at the fall fairs. Farmers flocked around them like hogs at a trough. During these years Massey was selling tractors, balers, manure spreaders and combines about as fast as the dealers in our area could get them in. And they were good equipment!

Conlee was not there but he does frequent the area and is very good friends with the owner of the AC dealership here.

Bruce I will have to agree that the MF 135 and 165 where darn good tractors. Other than Multi-power issues when not treated right, they are/where good and dependable tractors.

I spoke with the owner , looked to be in his 70s for sure . He said he was the original owner and tractor showed 3100 + hours, engine had never been into. He said he and his son restored/cleaned and painted , new clutch, new tires and wiring. Did that over a period of 15 months. I thought he kind of got stiffed, he did not get best of show , in that he was from some distance and no one knew him. Still as I said a beautiful presentation of an aged tractor.

When first looking into a tractor for my small acre needs almost bought a M/F135 that was almost as nice as that not quite but might have been considered a Trailer Queen. Guys wife wanted him to sell it but he had it priced in such a way that he didn?t want to sell. It still sits in his shed and I think he likes it that way. I still like the looks of them.

I've got a '28 Model A Coupe that is the same color as the last pic- Brewster Green and Washington Cr?me (wheels). And I would just love it to morph into a roadster pickup like that some time.

I know the owner and he is 87 years old , might price it, if you want me to check send me an e mail. It is near perfect , he drives it anywhere he wants.
